Bill was born in North Carolina. He has lived in many places, but mostly grew up in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. He is a graduate of Tarleton State University and he currently works as the Controller at TotalEnergies in Fort Worth.

Bill lost his 6-year-old sister to leukemia when he was 8 years old and because of this, his passion for curing childhood cancer is strong. Bill is also a young adult cancer survivor.

In his free time, he enjoys running, swimming and triathlon (he is a marathoner and Ironman triathlete).
