Meet Dana-Susan
Dana-Susan was born in Houston, Texas and moved many times throughout her life. She has lived in several different states in the USA and has also lived in Mexico. She is a world traveler with great "wanderlust". She speaks English and Spanish proficiently and holds lifetime teaching certification in both languages.
She has been writing for magazines, newspapers, and E-zines for decades. With a degree in Journalism and vast experience in public relations and fundraising, she volunteers for many nonprofit organizations including MD Anderson Cancer Center, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, American Cancer Society and more. Her brother is a childhood cancer survivor and her husband is a young adult cancer survivor.
She enjoys running, swimming and triathlon (she is a marathoner and Ironman triathlete). She also enjoys reading a good book (especially about the childhood cancer community).
