Cole Davis was a healthy 14 -year-old in January of 2020 who recently finished a great football season when his world was turned upside down by a diagnosis of T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Cole and his mom, Laura, know firsthand how difficult a cancer journey can be, especially during such an important developmental period as the teenage years.

One Day at a Time is a novel exploring both the mother and son perspectives of a pediatric cancer journey in the hopes of spreading awareness and creating a support system for those in this often, over-looked group of teenage cancer patients and their families.

Cole is now almost 17and just finished cancer treatment. He is preparing for his senior year of football next fall. Laura and Cole are working together to continue to support the pediatric cancer community and advocate for patients and families also going through the journey.
