Jack Gates founded Triumph Together while playing hockey at Colorado College. This nonprofit organization based in California helps connect collegiate and professional athletes with kids at nearby children's hospitals by getting them tickets to games, meet and greets with players, signed gear, videos of encouragement before surgery and much more.

Jack believes that sports give people a sense of community, hope, and most importantly something to believe in. In his first book, Super Cooper Wins the Stanley Cup (published by our second imprint Ashland Ink Publishing), Jack shared the story of a real little boy named Cooper who learned how to face the challenges of his life and through a bit of magic, he helped his favorite hockey team win the Stanley Cup! His next book will be released in early 2025 and will tell the story of two girls with leukemia getting to have their magical dreams come true in their favorite sport, soccer.
