It was written to help other fighters and families struggling to cope with cancer to understand their new circumstances, to cope with the flood of emotions, and to create a new normal. UPDATE: Alea fought cancer 10 times like a brave champion. In January 2024, Alea took her final breath on Earth. Her legacy continues through her written word and through her nonprofit organization.
