improving the lives of the children of the cancer community through the art of storytelling

My Mommy Has Cancer
A cancer diagnosis is difficult for anyone to endure. When a child has a parent with cancer, it can be very scary. Kids have a lot of questions and they need the grown ups in their life to give them honest answers. Kids also need to feel like they have some power to help.
This journal is a place for a child to capture their thoughts and feelings as they help their mom battle cancer. There are some practical tips for kids of all ages and pages for kids to write or draw or paste photos during this cancer journey.
Our Daddy's Cancer: How We Helped Him Fight, Second Edition inspired this journal.
